My Ephemeral Sunrise

Poetry
I grief for those who have a beating pulse in their chest
I mourn the death of those who hold more life within them than i
I miss the memories am yet to make
I shed tears for those who don’t exist
I feel sorrow for that of an nonexistent affair
For tomorrow sparks not hope but rather wary in me
I embrace as though today will be my last sunset
I bid my goodbye as though tomorrow I’ll wake up asleep in Eden
Is it i who shall not be bestowed another day or them?
Which do i dread more?
A graveyard for a brain
cassette for a head
Asleep but I’m not in my bed
My eternal sunset
Where did it go?
